About The Position

This Research Technologist Trainer position will be a member of R D department and report directly to the R D manager. The role involves providing training and national support by traveling to production and manufacturing facilities, sourcing manufacturing equipment, and working with production personnel to scale up processes from lab and pilot scale to full scale production. The trainer will also work with research chemists, scientists, and product launch specialists to develop products and ensure projects meet launch dates. Continuous improvement through production support and design efficiency is a key focus, along with maintaining communication with various departments and participating in regular meetings to present updates and observations.

Requirements

• 4 years hands-on experience working with extraction, post processing, and distillation equipment.
• Understanding of basic manufacturing equipment (tanks, pumps, mechanical implements).
• Strong math and process design skills.
• Ability to think critically and independently.
• Ability to interact with equipment manufacturers and technical support.
• Adhere to established safety standards and chemical hygiene.
• Implement and adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Must be able to pass a Florida level 2 background screening.

Responsibilities

• Communicate ROI through information mining and report authorship.
• Maintain communication with R D, facilities, maintenance, and production departments.
• Participate actively in regular meetings and present updates and observations.
