About The Position

The position involves setting up and performing routine and established laboratory procedures to support lab goals and grant commitments. This includes conducting assays, cell and tissue culture, and animal studies. The individual will monitor results, report unusual outcomes, and suggest modifications as necessary. Additionally, the role requires collecting, entering, and summarizing data, as well as assisting in the maintenance of lab equipment and supplies. Basic statistical data analysis will be performed, and the individual will prepare tables, charts, and graphs to assist in organizing data. Participation in research laboratory meetings and contribution to the writing of manuscripts is also expected. The position is supervised, but the individual may perform some assignments independently as discussed and approved by the Principal Investigator.

Requirements

• Experience in laboratory procedures
• Knowledge of assays and cell/tissue culture
• Ability to conduct animal studies
• Proficiency in data collection and entry
• Basic statistical analysis skills
• Ability to prepare visual data representations
• Strong communication skills for presentations and writing
