This job is for a wet-lab basic research group. We employ cultured cell lines, organoids, and animal models to conduct mechanistic studies related to human diseases. Routine techniques required for daily work include molecular cloning, cell culture, transfection and gene-editing, immunoblotting, as well as protein purification and interaction. Our research heavily involves microscope imaging techniques, such as immunofluorescence microscopy, live-cell imaging, super-resolution microscopy, and electron microscopy. Candidates familiar with these imaging techniques are highly encouraged to apply. Moreover, we regularly use disease mouse models that require daily maintenance, breeding, genotyping, tissue harvesting, histological analyses with or without immunolabeling, and MRI imaging using live mice. These techniques are well established in the lab. The lab also utilizes modern multi-Omics analyses, when necessary, especially proteomics. While we greatly appreciate the independent problem-solving ability, we do recognize the uniqueness of each lab member and encourage teamwork and collaboration, devoting to cultivate a supportive environment to promote personal growth.
