About The Position
The position involves setting up and performing routine and established lab procedures to support lab goals and grant commitments. This includes conducting assays, cell/tissue culture, and animal studies. The individual will monitor results, report unusual outcomes, and suggest modifications as necessary. Responsibilities also include collecting, entering, and summarizing data, as well as assisting in the maintenance of lab equipment and supplies. Basic statistical data analysis will be performed, and the individual will prepare tables, charts, and graphs to assist in organizing data. Participation in research laboratory meetings and contribution to the writing of manuscripts is expected. The role requires working under supervision, with the possibility of performing some assignments independently as discussed and approved by the Principal Investigator.
