About The Position
A 12-month full-time research technician position is available in the laboratory of Qian Shen, Ph.D. at Rhodes College. This research technician will work on a National Science Foundation (NSF) funded project to understand how fungi sense and respond to carbon dioxide. The position will begin in August of 2025. This is a grant-funded position with current funding approved through May 31, 2027. Employment is contingent upon the availability of funds from NSF. If NSF were to terminate the grant prior to May 31, 2027, the position will terminate concurrent with the cessation of the grant.
