About The Position

This position will find scientific papers, compare the data in the paper to the data reported in a database, and recommend corrections or updates.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Earth and Environmental Science.
• 0-6 months working with scientific data in spreadsheets.
• Any equivalent combination of related education and/or experience will be considered.
• All qualifications must be met by the time of employment.
• Excellent use of Excel or Google Sheets
• Experience with detailed quality control of data
• Ability to work professionally and collaboratively

Responsibilities

• Review scientific papers and quality control data
• Meet with supervisor and graduate student for training and updates
