About The Position
The Department of Geoscience is seeking applicants for part-time job of research technician. Job duties to include: Laboratory research assistant cultivate, isolate, and describe non-pathogenic anaerobic microbial populations enriched from the environment
Requirements
- previous microbiology laboratory experience
- Experience making culture media, measuring headspace gas compositions using gas chromatography, visually and chemically inspecting microbial cultures, aseptic technique, and basic laboratory safety protocols.
