About The Position

We are actively seeking a Research Technician to join the lab of Dr. Jennifer Zallen at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City, NY. This individual will work as part of an interactive, multidisciplinary team of scientists working to understand how cells navigate through the body during development and how defects in these processes can lead to birth defects and cancer. We use cell biological, genetic, biophysical, computational, and live-imaging approaches to visualize cell and protein dynamics in living embryos. The long-term goal of this research is to leverage this information to build, repair, and regenerate tissues to treat human disease. More information can be found at the following website: https://www.hhmi.org/scientists/jennifer-zallen About the Research Technician role: We are seeking an interactive, creative, and highly motivated researcher to assist in biomedical research investigating how cells move, change shape, and communicate with each other to generate functional tissues and organs. You will have an opportunity to participate in cutting-edge research and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of scientists and you will receive ample guidance and mentorship to ensure your success in this role. We are looking for researchers who are able to commit to joining the lab for at least two years.
