Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in natural sciences.
• Proven biological laboratory skills and the ability to handle diverse tasks in a research setting.
• Ability to commit for 2 years.

Nice To Haves

• Interest and knowledge of breeding of genetically engineered mice, mouse husbandry and procedures such as autopsy and xenografting.
• Experience with mammalian tissue culture and procedures such as lentivirus transduction.
• Experience with analytical experiments in molecular and cell biology such as genetic cloning, immunoassays, and molecular purifications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain lab equipment, instruments, reagents, chemicals, and other essential supplies.
• Perform specialized procedures, such as mammalian tissue culture lentivirus transduction, genetic cloning, immunoassays and molecular purifications, and experiments, which may be moderate to complex with increasing independence.
• Breed and handle genetically engineered mice, perform autopsy and xenografting.
• Record and analyze research data, prepare reports, and perform basic analyses using mathematical and statistical modeling.
• Help to prepare presentations and written articles for publication.
• Assist peers and researchers with ongoing projects, fostering a team-oriented, supportive environment.
