Responsibilities

  • Maintain detailed and organized lab notebooks documenting experiments and mouse colony work.
  • Perform PCR, RT-PCR, Western blots, and other molecular biology assays.
  • Participate in shared weekend animal monitoring responsibilities.
  • Collaborate regularly with supervising physician-scientists to plan and troubleshoot experiments.
  • Engage actively in lab meetings and literature discussions.
  • Support recruitment and onboarding of new lab members.
  • Maintain lab reagents, supplies, and equipment.
  • Operate standard laboratory instruments and support development of new techniques.
  • Perform cell culture, viability assays, and clonogenic assays.
  • Prepare media, chemicals, reagents, and experimental solutions.
