UT Southwestern Medical Center has a job opening for a Research Technician II for the Agathocleous laboratory in Children’s Medical Center Research Institute, starting around May 2026. The Dr. Michalis Agathocleous laboratory investigates the role of metabolism in blood formation, leukemia, and infection (Nature 549:476, Cell Metabolism 33:1777, Nature Communications 14:2610). We use genetic mouse models, stem cell assays, and mass spectrometry techniques. We are part of the Children s Medical Center Research Institute, a collaborative environment working on basic and translational biology in stem cells, cancer, and metabolism. Primary lab work is to assist with research projects, perform experiments, analyze data, genotyping, and mouse colony management. This is an ideal opportunity for candidates who are aiming to pursue future graduate studies in related research areas. Training in molecular biology or biochemistry is desirable.
