About The Position
A Research Technician position is available in the laboratory of Dr. Helen Hou at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, starting in 2023. You will play a prominent role in the research program of a brand-new interdisciplinary neuroscience lab, studying how the brain controls movements and behaviors, including how the brain coordinates facial expressions to convey emotions. Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory is located east of New York City on Long Island, conveniently accessible with the Long Island Rail Road (1-hr ride from Penn Station). The lab environment is dynamic and interactive, providing a unique opportunity for timely exposure to advances in various biomedical research fields and interaction with a broad range of researchers from all over the world through its renowned Meetings and Courses program.
