Responsibilities

  • Follow routine cell culture protocols.
  • Perform drug library screens in-vitro.
  • Collect samples, including protein and nucleic acid extraction, tissue fixation, and paraffin sectioning.
  • Utilize analytical techniques such as western blotting, qPCR, immunocytochemistry, and confocal fluorescence microscopy.
  • Maintain laboratory notebook.
  • Understand and apply basic scientific techniques.
  • Conduct analysis of results and begin interpretation of results.
  • Set up and prepare routine experiments as directed.
  • Prepare lab reagents, chemicals, instruments, and equipment.
  • Perform independent literature searches.
  • Assist with organizing materials for publication or presentation.
  • Maintain and order supplies.
