About The Position

About The University Corporation The University Corporation is a non-profit auxiliary corporation providing commercial and administrative services to California State University, Northridge. Our mission is to provide services and solutions that address the needs of California State University, Northridge; to support the academic, research, and creative endeavors of its students, faculty, and staff; and to enhance the quality of campus life. Overview: The Research Technician l will provide technical support for the NIH-funded research project, Project SHARE. Duties include data management, data analysis, creation of a longitudinal dataset, geocoding, survey programing, participant tracking and management. The Research Technician l will also assist with on going data collection and executing study protocols.

Requirements

  • Equivalent to graduation from a four-year college or university in a job-related field.
  • Additional experience in a job-related field may be substituted for up to two years of the required education, on a year-to-year basis.
  • The candidate will have experience with data management related to large, survey-based research projects.
  • The candidate will also have experience with analyzing quantitative survey-based research data.
