The Stuart lab is recruiting a highly motivated laboratory technician for our research projects on malaria immunology and cell and molecular biology of protozoan pathogens. The successful candidate must be able to work accurately and independently, but also with others in a highly collaborative environment. Prior experience in cell culture, standard cell and molecular and immunological techniques is highly desired. A willingness and ability to learn new techniques is required and a deep interest in basic and translational science is desirable. Our lab is working to illuminate immune responses to malaria vaccines that can aid vaccine development and to advance fundamental cellular and molecular understanding. We seek passionate, articulate, and dynamic researchers to join our mission. The research is conducted in the highly interactive Seattle research environment that includes the closely located University of Washington School of Medicine, Seattle Children's Research Institute and Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center.
