About The Position

Requirements

  • Desire to continually improve and develop new skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous laboratory experience in cell biology or immunology.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in blood processing, cell culture, flow cytometry, FluoroSpot/ELISPOT, PCR, or other immunological/molecular techniques.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with data analysis and visualization.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in performing research in human immunology under the supervision of PhD-level lab scientists.
  • Perform and analyze data from flow cytometry-based experiments using advanced technology.
  • Apply various immunological techniques including isolating primary cells, long-term cell culture, and FluoroSpot/ELISPOT assays.
  • Prepare buffers, solutions, and routine lab chemicals.
  • Maintain a research database, perform data entry into spreadsheets, and manage ordering/receiving of supplies.
  • Install, operate, and maintain laboratory equipment.
  • Organize and keep accurate records of all reagents in freezers, refrigerators, and liquid nitrogen tanks.
