We are currently looking for a detail-oriented, proactive Research Technician – Flow Cytometry to work in the Moody Foundation Flow Cytometry Core facility under the direction of Dr. Sean Morrison at the Children’s Medical Center Research Institute (CRI), UT Southwestern in Dallas, Texas. The Morrison lab’s g oal is to better understand the mechanisms that regulate stem cell function and how cancer cells hijack these mechanisms to enable tumor formation. A better understanding of these mechanisms offers the potential for new regenerative medicine and cancer therapies. This would be an excellent role for a scientifically-minded professional with strong flow cytometry experience who enjoys helping others build their technical skills and who is looking for a long-term stable position with a top-notch academic research facility.
