About The Position

The Research Technician 2 plans, implements, analyzes data needed for our large database studies, primarily working with software and datasets such as TriNetX, SEER-Medicare and other clinical datasets. This position assist with IRB and other regulatory requirements for the study.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree. (TRANSCRIPT REQUIRED)
• OR Combination of college course work and work experience to equal four (4) years.
• CITI training.
• Skill with SAS or R-programming.
• HIPAA training.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and prepares laboratory meetings with the Principal Investigator.
• Performs weekly updates on data cleaning, analysis, and planning.
• Performs regulatory checks.
• Writes scientific papers, submissions, and attends poster presentations.
• Performs data cleaning and reviews and assesses statistical methodology and data analysis.
• Assist with IRB and regulatory approvals.
• Assists in grant writing, manuscript preparation, and future analysis.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
