Part-Time Research Support
About The Position
Biobehavioral Health is seeking applicants for a part-time Research Support position. The Research Support position performs a variety of specialized tasks associated with conducting lab research, including: blood sample handling and processing; literature searches; editing and formatting manuscript text and tables; data scoring and entry; running simple/basic statistical analyses; maintaining participant records; basic lab work. SAMPLE WORK ACTIVITIES: Will process human blood samples in a wet lab and will transport the blood samples across campus Assist in the execution of research projects, under general direction of senior research personnel and according to standard protocols or research plans; contribute to experiments/tests in the laboratory/field to test, prove, or modify theoretical propositions Aid in scoring and organization of participant data in compliance with protocols Conducting specified searches of the broader literature for use in technical reports, documents, proposals, or oral/written presentations
