The Research Technician level II position will support the research program of Dr. Dada Pisconti in the Department of Biochemistry and Cell Biology. Research projects in the Pisconti lab involve maintaining mouse colonies, preparing and maintaining primary muscle stem cells and cell lines, performing basic biochemistry assays such as western blotting, ELISA, immunohistochemistry and RT-PCR. The successful candidate will both perform these assays and assist other lab members in performing them. The successful incumbent will have excellent interpersonal skills, and exercise strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail. The Research Technician will have experience and the ability to work independently and as part of a team with a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
