The Department of Plant Science seeks to hire a dependable and self-motivated person who is interested in the role of soil fertility and nutrient management in cropping systems. The research will focus on nutrient cycling in cropping systems, soil health, cover crops, and water quality. The successful candidate will work with faculty, staff and graduate students to learn field and laboratory techniques for quantifying soil nitrogen, phosphorous, sulfur, and plant sampling techniques in cover and cash crops.
