About The Position
The Research Foundation for Mental Hygiene is seeking a qualified full-time Research Support Assistant to contribute to the Kellendonk lab's ongoing studies on studying neuronal mechanisms underlying altered perception and cognition in the mouse.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in neuroscience
- At least (6) months cumulative experience working in a laboratory environment
- At least (6) months of experience brain tissue processing, and data analyses.
Nice To Haves
- At least (6) months of experience with RNAscope gene expression analysis.
Responsibilities
- Mouse behavior
- Molecular analysis of gene expression in the mouse
- Maintaining the mouse colony
