Join us as a Study Technician and shape the next wave of medical advancements! How you will be rewarded! Working in Madison, WI our Study Technicians: Pay Rate: $23/hr. After initial training period (based on performance) $.50 increase. First Shift Schedule: 6:30am -3:15 pm CST. Will require working some weekends and holidays. Relocation Assistance: We support your move to join our team! Holiday and overtime with supplementary compensation. Maintaining the highest standards of animal care and welfare in accordance with the Association for Assessment and Accreditation of Laboratory Animal Care International (AAALAC).

Requirements

  • No experience required with a bachelor’s degree in animal science, Biology, Wildlife Studies, or related life science field Preferred or in any field.
  • OR associate degree in veterinary technology or related in-life science program with 1-2 years of hands on large or small animal care in laboratory/research or farming operation.

Nice To Haves

  • AALAS Certification is preferred but not required-we can help you obtain this!
  • Prior animal handling experiences preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Handling and restraining animals
  • Administering test items
  • Collecting biological samples
  • Performing clinical observations
  • Collecting and reviewing data in accordance with the Good Laboratory Practice Regulations (GLP) and standard operating procedures
