As the Research Study Coordinator at Washington State University within the Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine, you will plan and manage research projects within the Speech and Hearing Sciences department overseen by Amy Kemp. These projects focus on Alzheimer’s disease and related dementia, including cognitive communication assessment, evaluation, and intervention. You will also support research on neurorehabilitation technology and analyze secondary data sets to investigate the risk of cognitive decline. You will coordinate the timing of project activities to ensure successful completion. You will develop program evaluation objectives and determine appropriate evaluation procedures. You will select statistical analyses, oversee project progress, produce reports detailing results, and maintain project budgets. You will be responsible for the development, management, and integrity of all project data. You will conduct data collection and analysis while ensuring proper data methods, management, and security. You will ensure adherence to research protocols. You will also help develop research designs and strategies for data management. Additionally, you will manage participant recruitment and study protocols. You will participate in research within the Speech & Hearing Sciences lab. This position is based in Spokane, WA, and may offer hybrid work opportunities with supervisor approval.
