About The Position
The Rhode Island College McNair Scholars Program is a federally funded TRIO program designed to prepare eligible undergraduates for doctoral study through involvement in research and other scholarly activities. The program’s goal is to increase the attainment of PhD degrees by students from underrepresented segments of society. Requirements
- Master’s in a relevant field.
- Experience teaching research methods and mentoring undergraduate students.
Nice To Haves
- PhD in a relevant field (e.g., psychology, sociology, education, or a related discipline).
- Experience guiding students through poster presentations and academic research communication.
- Familiarity with undergraduate research programs (such as McNair or other TRIO programs).
