Research Specialist responsibilities include using technologies such as single cell genomics to characterize mammalian autism models, as well as using molecular tools to develop a high-throughput method to study local mRNA components of synapses. The individual will participate in research projects and work closely with other lab members and the PI. This position provides an excellent opportunity to further develop research skills in neurobiology, molecular biology and genomics-based technology development. This is a one-year term position (with the possibility of renewal); preference is given to candidates who can commit to 2 years.
