About The Position

The University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus is seeking a Research Services Professional (Radiology) to join the Advanced Imaging Lab within the Department of Radiology. This position is open to candidates at various levels: Entry, Intermediate, and Senior. The successful candidate will engage in advanced image acquisition, processing, and analysis for the evaluation of vascular function using MRI. This role involves participation in collaborative research projects and will report directly to Erin Englund, PhD. The candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside a diverse group of clinicians and scientists, including radiologists, cardiologists, endocrinologists, and PhD researchers, and will be exposed to numerous training opportunities in clinical and translational imaging research methods. The Research Services Professional will be responsible for managing research study documents, coordinating research participants, and conducting data analysis. The position requires adherence to research regulatory standards and maintaining detailed records to ensure compliance with FDA requirements and other regulatory guidelines. The role also includes assisting with the day-to-day operations of clinical trials, obtaining medical histories from study subjects, performing informed consent processes, and scheduling participant involvement in research studies. As the candidate progresses in their role, they will be expected to independently master study materials, assist in the creation and implementation of processes and procedures, and serve as a resource during study initiation and closeout duties. This position is not just about performing tasks; it is about contributing to the advancement of medical research and improving patient care through innovative imaging techniques. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the research team, ensuring that studies are conducted efficiently and ethically, while also contributing to the overall mission of the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus to drive innovation in healthcare.
