About The Position

You will be the Research Scientist for the Advanced Research Division which is responsible for advancing scientific knowledge and pioneering emerging technologies. What You Will Be Doing As the Research Scientist you will be responsible for applying rigorous scientific methods to explore natural phenomena and translate insights into actionable project advancements. Your responsibilities will include: Design and execute scientific experiments, investigations, and observations. Analyze results and develop theories that systematically characterize natural phenomena. Participate in intellectual‑property evaluations and draft patent applications. Coordinate interdepartmental research activities and foster collaborative efforts. Document findings and communicate results to support project advancement and emerging technologies. Requirements

  • MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN
  • Bachelor’s degree or above in one of the following fields: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics or another technical degree program - with 1+ years of experience
  • Secret Security Clearance with CV w/in 5 years
  • COMPTIA Sec+ Certification

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in low observables (LO), survivability, or susceptibility
  • F-35 LO maintenance/troubleshooting experience
  • Signature measurement utilizing different tier measurement devices, RADAR Cross section test and evaluation background.
  • Experience with Repair Verification Radar (RVR), Handheld Imaging Tool (HIT) or other zonal RCS equipment
  • F-35 LO maintenance/troubleshooting experience
  • Knowledge of VAS, PDM, Computer Aided Design (CAD), CATIA V5, Matlab, Compuquest, relational data bases, CRM, Excel
  • Proven experience interfacing with diverse teams of contractors and military customers
  • Experience in radar cross section (RCS), Low Observable (LO) materials and processes, LOHAS Project or program management, and execution of signature technology
  • Familiarity with F-35 airframe design and coating materials and methods, aircraft systems and subsystems.
  • Experience collaborating across multi-disciplined engineering and sustainment teams
  • Excellent information organization skills
  • Excellent written and verbal presentation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
