About The Position

You will be the Research Scientist Staff for the F-35 Signature Integration team which is responsible for maintaining and advancing the F-35 low‑observable technology and coordinating with both internal and external customers. What You Will Be Doing As the Research Scientist Staff you will be responsible for delivering cutting‑edge research that drives the evolution of low‑observable capabilities across the F‑35 program. Your responsibilities will include: Maintain and enhance existing low‑observable technologies to meet performance goals. Lead exploratory research projects that address emerging stealth requirements. Coordinate technical solutions with internal teams and external partners. Provide expert analysis and recommendations to support system integration. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Physics, Electrical or Aerospace Engineering, or Optics
  • Understanding of System Engineering elements
  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Active DoD Secret Security Clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in low observables (LO), supportable LO, RCS testing from zonal to pole model to flight testing.
  • Experience with LO integration / multi-discipline air vehicle systems design
  • Programming with Matlab, C/C++, Java, Python
  • CAD software literacy for model cleanup and meshing.
  • Tableau dashboard development and maintenance to display information to management
  • Experience in Root-Cause Corrective Action process to identify and correct signature related concerns
  • Customer experience through combined projects, briefings and onsite visits
