About the position

The Research Scientist in Physics and Computer Engineering at Guardian School Security Systems is responsible for solving complex technical issues using principles of physics and computer engineering. This role involves collaboration with a diverse team of scientists and engineers to conduct research, develop innovative solutions, and contribute to patent applications. The position requires a strong foundation in physics, programming skills, and the ability to apply advanced theories to practical scenarios.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with scientists, professors, and engineers to solve technical issues using physics principles.
  • Provide technical assistance to peers in understanding and utilizing physics concepts effectively.
  • Set up testing and configurations based on physics calculations and simulations to validate theories and designs.
  • Work with Mechanical and CAD Engineers to integrate physics into mechanical design and development projects.
  • Utilize knowledge in computer engineering to support research projects, particularly in Python and C++.
  • Apply advanced physics theories to practical scenarios, including Schroeder's Equations and Quantum Equations.
  • Conduct electrical simulations and modeling to support research and development efforts.
  • Analyze data using statistics and vector analysis techniques to draw meaningful conclusions.
  • Engage in optical and lens analysis, radar theory, and RF applications to advance product research and testing.
  • Contribute to patent applications based on research findings.

Requirements

  • Doctoral degree in Physics, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in problem-solving within the field of physics.
  • Strong knowledge of physics and computer engineering principles.
  • Proficiency in Python and C++ programming languages.
  • Experience with Linux operating system.
  • Understanding of quadratic equations and their applications.
  • Familiarity with Schroeder's Equations, statistics, Doppler radar theory, RF experience, vector analysis, lens or optical analysis, quantum equations, and Eigen Functions.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with patent applications and intellectual property related to physics.
  • Innovative thinker with the ability to apply the laws of physics creatively to solve complex problems.
