Requirements

  • Strong algorithm, data structure and coding skills
  • Strong with Python, SQL, and ML fundamentals
  • Enrolled in a PhD or Master’s degree program in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Operations Research, Statistics, or related fields
  • Experience in designing experiments and statistical analysis of results
  • Experience in implementing algorithms using toolkits and self-developed code

Nice To Haves

  • Demonstrated track record of excellence (e.g., publications at top-tier peer-reviewed conferences or journals) and desire to grow
  • Strong communication skills, verbal and written
  • Experience at fast-growing companies or startups, or working in an agile environment

Responsibilities

  • You will be working on a challenging research project on a topic at the intersection of your research interests and Uniphore’s business interest
  • You will work closely with Uniphore research scientists, other research interns, as well as Uniphore machine learning engineers to define the problem and develop solutions
  • The ideal outcome of your internship project is either a research paper submitted to top-tier conferences or journals, or a standalone system that demonstrates improvements in key research engineering tasks
