Meta Reality Labs is seeking interns to contribute to our groundbreaking work in neuromotor interfaces, a field that has evolved from our acquisition of CTRL-labs. This innovative technology has the potential to become a cornerstone for interaction within virtual and augmented environments. As an intern, you will play a crucial role in helping us unlock human potential by eliminating the barriers between user intent and action. You will be embedded within a world-class, multi-disciplinary team of researchers dedicated to exploring the intricacies of human neuromotor signals, such as electromyography (EMG). Your responsibilities will include developing advanced signal processing and machine learning techniques to interpret user intent and designing novel interaction methods and user experiences. Our internships are structured to last between twelve (12) to twenty-four (24) weeks, with various start dates available throughout the year. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of technology and contribute to projects that could redefine how users interact with digital environments. You will collaborate closely with engineering and Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) teams to translate fundamental scientific insights into practical technology and user experiences. Utilizing quantitative research methods, you will help define, iterate, and advance key areas of our research agenda, making a significant impact on the future of neuromotor interfaces.
