About The Position
As a Research Scientist Assistant I you will work independently and with other members of the research team to complete a variety of ongoing research projects. We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated individual to join Dr. Michael Nelson’s laboratory to conduct human subject research and day-to-day laboratory tasks.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Kinesiology, Bioengineering, or a related science field or the equivalent experience.
Nice To Haves
- Master’s degree in exercise physiology or kinesiology.
Responsibilities
- Research coordination: coordinate subject or patient participation as outlined in protocol and assist with research projects as assigned.
- Data collection: construct, assemble, and operate experimental or specially designed laboratory equipment.
- Data analysis: Interpretation of data gathered through the use of analytical and logical reasoning.
- Performs other duties, as assigned.
