RESEARCH SCIENTIST , Picower Institute for Learning and Memory - Chung Lab , is a pivotal role responsible for generating spatial transcriptomic and proteomic optical imaging data of human and non-human primate brains, utilizing the novel technology pipeline established by the Chung Lab, including tissue processing, molecular probe staining, and volumetric data acquisition using light sheet microscopes. Will be a direct contributor to a large NIH UM1 research center, entitled Center for Multi-scale Multi-Omic Human and Non-human Primate Atlas. The primary responsibilities of the research scientist are to independently conduct experiments and optimize various protocols to ensure successful and consistent results. They will also work closely with the collaborating teams across the center to conduct necessary protocol validation experiments.
