From benchtop research to international programs, the Department of Emergency Medicine provides exceptional patient care, delivers outstanding undergraduate and graduate education, and furthers the field of emergency medicine through innovative basic science and clinical research. The Department of Emergency Medicine seeks a Research Project Manager (Academic Program Professional 1) to support Dr. Ngaruiya's domestic and international global health research. We are looking for a team-oriented, organized, socially savvy, and good communicator to provide scientific support for the research faculty. The person in this role will facilitate communication among faculty members, collaborators, and staff as well as help coordinate the logistics of Dr. Ngaruiya's research projects. This role will resemble that of a project manager. You will collaborate with an exceptional group of people to provide administrative and programmatic support in a dynamic and friendly work environment. This is a busy position requiring accuracy, organization, initiative, flexibility, and independence. An ideal candidate will exhibit excellent time management skills, communication skills, the ability to set priorities, and a passion for working with people. Experience/ exposure working with international populations and the ability to coordinate across multiple time zones is preferred.
