Oversees complex clinical research projects with limited oversight from senior leadership. Coordinates multicenter studies, ensures adherence to protocols and SOPs, and develops quality assurance processes. Contributes to protocol and budget development, supervises project staff, and manages performance. Facilitates grant applications, stakeholder communication, and compliance with regulatory and institutional requirements. Position contingent upon funding. The Hepatology Research Project Manager will work independently with minimal supervision. The primary functions of this position will be to supervise and provide support to the clinical research staff, conduct clinical trials and oversee the orientation and training of research personnel. He/She will manage all aspects of the Hepatology Clinical Research Program. The first component of this position will be to manage personnel in the group including hiring, orientation, workload, assignments, staffing, and performance evaluation and management. The second component will be collaborating with the Director of the Hepatology Research Program and the Principal Investigator/Sub Investigators in determining projects and providing support to the Investigators. The third component will be conducting clinical trials with Project Manager and coordinator responsibilities.
