About The Position

The Research Program Management team is a proactive, strategic partner guiding research teams through continuous evolution to deliver a transformative research portfolio. We empower innovation, embed strategic thinking, foster psychological safety, and accelerate the path to transformative medicines. As a Project Manager Intern, you will join a high-performing, collaborative team dedicated to driving the success of research projects from early-stage discovery through IND submission. You will play a hands-on role in planning, executing, and monitoring project deliverables, timelines, and resources, while helping to foster a culture of transparency, strategic thinking, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, Business, Project Management, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse, cross-functional team environment.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Adaptability, curiosity, and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced setting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite ( MS Project, SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, Word); familiarity with project management tools is a plus.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis without requiring sponsorship
  • Must be currently enrolled in a degree program graduating December 2026 or later
  • The internship program is 10-12 weeks depending on the two start dates (May 26 th -August 14 th or June 15 th - August 21 st )
  • The intern must be able to commit to one of these time frames
  • Able to work full time 40 hours a week during internship dates

Responsibilities

  • Support the planning, execution, and delivery of specific research project milestones and objectives
  • Assist in developing detailed project plans, schedules, and task lists to ensure timely completion of deliverables.
  • Track and report on project progress, risks, and issues, escalating as needed to ensure project success.
  • Coordinate meetings, document action items, and follow up with stakeholders to drive accountability.
  • Facilitate effective communication between project team members and cross-functional partners.
  • Contribute to process improvements that streamline project workflows and reduce bottlenecks.
  • Help celebrate project achievements and foster a positive, inclusive team environment.
