The Department of Public Health Sciences at The Medical University of South Carolina is looking to add a program assistant to assist with the Environmental influences on Child Health Outcomes (ECHO) research program. The candidate will provide technical and professional research services in the Department of Public Health Sciences and work closely with the Departments of Obstetrics and Gynecology as well as Pediatrics at MUSC. The applicant will be responsible for helping with many aspects of the study, including data collection, biologic sample collection and processing, medical record abstraction, assuring regulatory compliance, and assisting with any lab-related tasks that may arise. We are particularly interested in candidates who are interested in biologic sample collection and processing. The candidate must be flexible, as well as demonstrate strong organizational and interpersonal skills. The candidate must be able to work flexible hours on occasion, such as evenings or some weekends.
