Requirements

• Minimum requirements include a PhD in related field.
• Minimum requirements include knowledge and skills developed through 2-5 years of work experience in a related job discipline.

Nice To Haves

• Expertise in cellular immunology including in vitro cell culture techniques, and multiparameter flow cytometry including data analysis.
• Advanced knowledge in molecular biology including RNA-seq, single cell RNA-seq and retrovirus cell transfection.
• Ability to effectively communicate with and train others, including undergraduate and graduate students.
• Effective analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Works with mouse models of transplantation and pregnancy.
• Designs, executes, and analyzes experiments involving in vitro cell culture techniques to investigate cellular immune responses.
• Applies molecular biology techniques such as RNA sequencing (RNA-seq) and single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq) to study gene expression profiles.
• Serves as a resource for collecting data and performing analysis.
• Contributes to facilitating and promoting a research project by providing scientific or intellectual information.
• Reviews laboratory protocols and training on new techniques.
• Manage complex data sets for research.
• Leads the contributions to scientific writing and publications, including protocols and grants.
• Trains new laboratory personnel.
• Performs other related work as needed.
