Research Nurse - Early Phase Clinical Trials (Night Shift) Location: Daytona Beach, FL Schedule: Night Shift Monday–Friday: 10‑hour shifts, 9:00 PM - 7:00 AM Weekends (as scheduled): 12‑hour shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM Predictable nights. As one of the largest Clinical Research Organizations in the world, we operate four Early Phase Clinical Research Units across the UK and US. We are seeking a dedicated Night Shift Research Nurse to support the execution of innovative Early Phase clinical trials, ensuring participant safety and protocol accuracy during overnight hours. This role is ideal for nurses who prefer night work, value schedule transparency, and thrive in a focused clinical research environment. Your Impact: You'll collaborate with leading pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device companies at a critical stage of clinical development - establishing the safety, tolerability, and pharmacokinetics of new drugs. You'll maintain direct participant interaction while witnessing the development of innovative therapies firsthand.

Requirements

  • Associate’s or BS degree in Nursing with current state licensure.
  • CPR/AED certification (ACLS preferred).
  • 2–3 years of nursing experience.
  • Phlebotomy experience.
  • A passion for learning and adaptability to a structured rotating schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality care to trial participants using your clinical judgment and nursing expertise.
  • Monitor participant well-being, document adverse events, and respond to emergencies.
  • Administer investigational compounds and perform study-related procedures (ECGs, telemetry, venipuncture, etc.).
  • Collect and process biological samples, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with protocols.
