Research Manager
About The Position
The Manager of Clinical Research will oversee the operational and logistical tasks of entire research efforts for all Carondelet and Abrazo Health Care facilities. The Manager ensures adherence to standard operating procedures, good clinical practice and FDA regulations. The position is responsible for establishing and maintaining strong relationships with investigators, clinicians, coordinators, clinical research associates, administrators, patients and sponsor/CRO representatives. The Manager will demonstrate strong project planning, leadership, negotiation and presentations skills as well as an ability to contribute creative yet practical solutions to problems. The Manager works within a system of vertical and horizontal matrix reporting relationships and works collaboratively with leaders throughout the system. The Manager proactively identifies opportunities to improve the department and revenue stream, including being up to date on the latest trends within the industry. The Manager develops and institutes proper quality control measures, and ensures that all processes are performed in the most efficient, high quality manner. The Manager leads or directs related projects, supervises personnel, being sure they are trained and adhere to proper work practices.
