About The Position

Major Duties and Responsibilities: Supervises and coordinates the activities of the members of their team with the help of the Director of Research Operations. Performs all Study Coordinator Duties, first . Helps orient all personnel to the Urology of Indiana Research Department and internal processes. With the help of the Director of Research Operations, addresses personnel issues through coaching/discipline. Facilitates internal Urology of Indiana Research Meetings/ circulates the agenda for the meeting. With the help of the Director of Research Operations, completes annual reviews for all personnel on their team. Coordinates and provides cross-training of department personnel and associated departments, i.e. collaboration with the APC team, RT team etc. Displays an image of personal and professional competence including the knowledge and adherence to the philosophy of the organization’s values. Orders supplies for the department and sends invoice to the Director of Research Operations to approve. Ensures all personnel listed on the Delegation Log for each study has appropriate training per sponsor. Other duties as assigned. Education and/or Experience High School Diploma/GED 1-2 years supervisory experience preferred 1-2 years previous experience in the medical field preferred Language Skills Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before individuals or groups of people. Mathematical Skills Ability to calculate basic figures and amounts. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry. Reasoning Ability Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Computer Skills To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of basic computer software.
