PENN DENTAL MEDICINE seeks a skilled laboratory technician to assist senior level researchers on various supervised research projects within the lab; including, but not limited to: lab preparation, data collection, animal husbandry, and lab supply inventory management. The Ko laboratory at Penn Dental Medicine is recruiting a highly motivated and inquisitive individual for an entry-level laboratory position. A list of published studies from the laboratory can be found in the link below: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/myncbi/kang.ko.1/bibliography/public/ The RESEARCH LABORATORY TECHNICIAN will be responsible for: Assist in carrying out experiments on various supervised research projects within the lab. Assist with techniques in animal husbandry, histology and molecular and cellular biology carrying out routine tasks such as lab/experiment preparation. Gather data from experiments, complete data entry and analyze data in collaboration with senior level researchers - with the intent of presenting research results in laboratory meetings. Monitors and manages inventory placing supply orders as needed. Other duties as assigned. Provide and maintain expertise in innovative solutions focused on the responsible stewardship of Penn Dental Medicine and its community experience.
