About The Position

Molecular and Cellular Pharmacology has an exciting opportunity for a Research Laboratory Technician position. The incumbent aids scientists in their experiments by monitoring and recording their findings. Moreover, the Research Laboratory Technician ensures laboratory compliance with applicable safety regulations.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent required
Minimum 1 year of relevant experience

Responsibilities

Cleans, sanitizes, maintains, and operates laboratory equipment.
Keeps records of research data and assists in analyzing it.
Maintains inventory of laboratory equipment and supplies and places orders in a timely fashion.
Proofreads and assists in the writing of manuscripts, grant proposals, and lab protocols.
Prepares reports of experiment results.
Performs research by completing simple experiments or steps in more complicated studies.
Adheres to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguards University assets.
