About The Position
This position involves high-level biomedical research that includes both cutting-edge and traditional biomolecular analyses of human and nonhuman primate cells, tissues, and fluids. Responsibilities include tissue collection and processing, tissue fractionation, biomolecular purification and characterization, histochemical and immunohistochemical analyses, multimodal imaging and image analysis, cardiovascular and musculoskeletal assessments, cellular purification and analysis, assessments of gene expression, and special procedures. Under general supervision, the individual will plan, develop, modify, and implement previously developed and original experimental procedures, and assist in developing specialized analytical procedures as necessary. Final analyses will be reported in a research laboratory as needed. Excellent communication, writing, and analytical skills are required.
