Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree Related Field of Study required
  • Previous research laboratory experience (1-2 years required), with strong emphasis on work involving mice, including handling, care, and surgical procedures
  • Competence in biochemical and immunochemical research techniques and laboratory methods.
  • Ability to independently execute both routine and non-routine experiments.
  • Experience in data collection, analysis, and statistical interpretation.
  • Extensive experience with mouse handling, care, and surgeries.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to interpret and evaluate experimental data accurately.
  • Proficiency in computer-based data analysis and statistical software.
  • Ability to collaborate with a research team and provide input to protocol development.
  • Demonstrated competence in research techniques and methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Executes protocols of non-routine experiments.
  • Assists PI with determining the most suitable methodology.
  • Performs basic design and modification of protocols.
  • Calculates, transcribes, and analyzes data.
  • Prepares and presents reports.
  • Organizes and summarizes acquired data using scientific and Statistical Techniques.
  • Participates in the design of experiments or field work.
