The McAllister Lab is seeking a highly motivated lab technician to join our pioneering research efforts at the intersection of immunity, aging, patient diversity, and cancer. Our lab's research is focused on understanding how immune fitness and aging impacts breast cancer progression and response to therapy. By improving our understanding of the cellular and molecular mechanisms involving age-associated immune fitness in disease control, the McAllister Lab aims to develop innovative, personalized therapeutic treatments and strategies that benefit breast cancer patients and account for their diversity. We are looking for an entry-level lab technician with a background in biological research, data science and R programming, and the ability to independently complete lab tasks in a dynamic research environment. In this role, the individual will focus on supporting our research endeavors through the computational analysis of new and existing data derived internally and externally, with occasional experimental support of work using mouse models, cell and molecular biology, and histology.
