Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with five years of relevant experience is required
  • Will accept a candidate with a master's degree and two years of relevant experience
  • Experience managing a lab is required
  • Ability to conduct biological research experiments and analysis using scientific methods and techniques
  • Ability to plan, organize, and coordinate work assignments
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others and communicate verbally and in writing

Responsibilities

  • Conducting and overseeing experiments
  • Supervise lab staff such as undergrad students, research associates, postdocs, & scientists
  • Effectively communicates the results of analyses to researchers
  • Manage inventory and retrieving samples
  • Communicating with collaborators to assess project needs and timelines
