About The Position

The Research Intern will support our research and execution efforts at the intersection of blockchain infrastructure, protocol strategy, and real-world business transformation. This role is designed for someone who can move comfortably between crypto-native research and applied sector analysis, and who enjoys turning complex, fragmented information into clear, decision-ready insights.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled undergraduate or MBA students
  • Strong research, synthesis, and analytical skills with high attention to signal over noise
  • Clear, structured writing and comfort presenting conclusions, not just data
  • Intellectual curiosity and comfort forming independent points of view
  • Ability to operate across technical, economic, and business contexts
  • Academic background in economics, computer science, engineering, finance, policy, or a related field
  • Demonstrated interest in blockchain, crypto infrastructure, or emerging technology ecosystems

Responsibilities

  • Track, map, and maintain crypto ecosystem landscapes, including L1s/L2s, stablecoins, data infrastructure, DePIN, wallets, identity, and compliance tooling
  • Build and maintain internal trackers covering crypto infrastructure providers, vendors, ecosystem partners, and sector-specific tooling
  • Maintain an external research library and convert third-party research into clear internal “house views”
  • Produce concise research briefs to support protocol roadmap discussions, infrastructure decisions, and partner selection
  • Support RFP preparation, vendor comparisons, and response evaluation through structured analysis and comparison frameworks
  • Conduct research on traditional industries relevant to our investment and transformation thesis, including value chains, unit economics, and operational constraints
  • Maintain sector-level trackers capturing regulatory, economic, and adoption considerations
  • Support the preparation of transformation decks, research memos, and advisory materials for internal and external stakeholders
  • Provide research and operational support for 180-day blockchain pilots, including tracking hypotheses, milestones, assumptions, and outputs
  • Synthesize large and complex research sets into clear, decision-ready summaries for investment committee and advisory use
