About The Position

The Cryptography Research group at MongoDB does cutting edge research in cryptography related to the database space. Internships in the Cryptography group typically include a mix of design and implementation depending on the project. The group conducts research in many aspects of cryptography, including encrypted search, structured encryption, leakage attacks, private information retrieval, oblivious RAM and secure multi-party computation. What we are looking for in you In the process of receiving a Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science or related fields. Exceptional Bachelor’s students will be considered as well. Research experience in one or more of the following areas: Formal verification in cryptography (e.g., symbolic modeling and verification of cryptographic protocols). Systems side-channel attacks or systems security research. Trusted execution environments. Have at least one publication (or preprint). Must be authorized to work in the United States. Company sponsorship may be available for eligible candidates applying for certain roles. Requirements
